separate chassis power supply

is it a good idea to build a separate chassis PS for the UcD amp?

then use as short as possible (~150mm) 12g wires with CPC connectors to link the two chassis together (PS & amp chassis)

there can be some really good benefits of having a separate PS.

How short is the connection from the output of the filter caps to the power input of the UcD module should be (any specific figure)?

thanks,

I don't think a separate chassis is necessary if your layout is good.
