ClassD with Solid State Relay?

I just got back from local electronic market. I saw a "Solid State Relay".
ClassD PWM type power amp uses final transistor as a switch only, on and off with varying width. A relay does the same thing, only on and off.
I dont know the spec of this SS relay, but if its capable of 500khz, I think it can be made classD power amp, with big supply rail and big current (big amp).
Does anyone has tried it before?

Usually solid state relays is slow too much (several mS), but you can use other optical solution for the class D- TLP250 (or like), which 1000 times faster vs SS relay.

They are usually made to switch 60/60 Hz mains and include things like zero crossing detection.
You can't use them for class-d amps.
They are a nice thing however for remotely switching-on PSUs etc.

H11Fx is a pretty cool optocoupler which may be worthwhile to tinker with as well.
