I have read both long threads and got bits and pieces. Hoping this will be useful to summarize the costs you have spent in building your UcD180 or UcD400 amps.
I'm especially interested in the items excluding the costs for: * UcD180 or UcD400 modules (which is known from Hypex.nl) * Toroid transformers * Filter capacitors thanks, Al |

Hy Al,
For me at the moment for my 5 channel amp: - encasement: € 50 (it is a quite simple one; most are at least € 150!) - loudspeaker connectors (10!): about €65 (haven't got them yet, 10 WBT's was too expensive for me: €160) - neutrik XLR connectors(5): about € 25? (I got them for free) - Mains connector, switch, etc: around €15 - small stuff (feet, screws, cables, cable shoes, cable binders, etc): about €25 ? I had to make 5 rca->XLR interconnects: about € 110 Frans |
