Peranders,
It's indeed an idee to use the AD8620. For OEM manufactures we can always make a special version, however this is only possible in bigger orderquantities. It also a very good idee for a review by the Danis/Swedish Hifi magazines. I don't have any contact in that area. Perhaps we better have a private email contact about this. A PWM amp I developed about 15 years ago sounded very nice, transparent and by no means harsh, despite having around 0.5% THD.
The two main advantages class-d amps have over most linear amps: 1.) No crossover distortion (this is a little exagerated but soemtimes you have to )2.) Capability of driving complex loads with ease (they don't have to be specifically designed for this they "just do it"). Regards Charles |

The magazine has also the right attitude for your products. They are towards high-end equipment. http://hifi.dk I'll guess you can get in contact with Thomas Madsen which has written for them.

Furious, there is no risk with having your address enabled because you won't get it revealed, only if you answer the email. If you get to much unwanted email this just disable it!

and while you;re at it (jan peter), you might want to read this thread on biasing opamps in to class a.
I;ve sent you an email, btw. Next week i;ll be working near groningen (haren) so i was wondering whether it;d be possible to pick 2 ucd180;s up at your factory (which saves me shipping costs). |

I have just answerd you private email, see you next week ![]() This is a very known tweak using a resistor to put the amp in Class-A. You could also consider a J-fet........ Regards, Jan-Peter www.hypex.nl |
