Pah. You should have made the left and right a mirror image of each other...! Cheap job!

Hmm, tough one... Nope, hang on I've got it. The center channel should stand up vertically!

I guess they should also have colour coordinated cases then so you can distinguish left/right, front/back...

(I am kidding... That's a really nice looking setup. Congrats)

ok, I´ve tested with connecting a speaker to the outputs and now the 14vdc dissapeared so now that problem is solved
however I cant get any sound from the module i´ve connected signal on in+ and gnd with rca plugs, but when i connected to pre-out on my receiver the hypex module sent some current the wrong way into my receiver, which caused my speakers to make a little "bang" and also made the receiver go in "protect" mode.
after that I didnt want to risk my receiver so I took a portable cd player as a preamp, but no sound what so ever from the ucd180...
why can this be
broken module? the blue light is on..
measured the signal connectors on the module also with no cables soldered on it and it was about 1.85vdc/3.35vac between in+ and gnd, nothing between in- and in+...
should it be power on the signal input?

yes i ordered two, but one of them had an accident involving my curious dog, so that one is no longer alive, (the module I mean).
so before ordering a new one I want to se if the other one I have actually works but it seems not to work... however I think it would work when the light is on...
anyone want to measure if you got any voltage on the inputs?
I have really no idea what could be wrong, could a problem with the power supply make this? it reads 48vdc and the module lights up....

Not really, those 14V shouldn't be there even at no load!

Definitely not!!! If there is, the dog has probably had a go at this one too

Well obviously it goes to sleep when the light is off, poor thing I would do the same if I had to digest a whole UcD180

Seriously, next time do measure your rails (you need +48V AND -48V wrt module power ground) before connecting the modules.
