Is there a TPA3118 without EMI and AM avoidance?

I'm really digging the TPA3118, thanks to everyone here who recommended!

I'm designing a custom PCB for a little 9v powered portable stereo speaker and I'd like to use a version of the TPA3118 without the bells and whistles to save power if one exists. I need as much runtime as possible for a full music performance!

Does TI offer the same class D amp without EMI filtering and AM Avoidance?

If not, is there another amplifier chip with same or better specs?

9v, stereo, low distortion, similar gain, etc.

In case you intend to produce some audible sound for some time with a 9V battery block - forget it.

The "AM avoidance", to the best of my knowledge, is only the ability to adjust the switching frequency in a certain range. Not exactly what you'd call a "power sink", imho.

Thanks for the 3128 idea, I will check it out.

Also for background, I've been able to use the PAM8610 with a 9v NiMH for 40min on a charge, continuous use keyboard practice at home. Keep in mind continuously practicing a keyboard is not the same as continuously playing mp3s or radio. There are always passages in the song where I am not playing and rests between notes, and time to think about my next song or fingerings, etc. But in testing and getting 40 minutes runtime I made an effort to keep playing the keyboard as much as possible.

If your goal is prolonging battery uptime, you must reduce power output.
For instance using a halfbridge output with capacitor instead of the capless fullbridge.
Swapping the chip will not make a great difference.
