Hi guys.

I am after some images of class d amps being prototyped,

Veroboard / Strip board / Breadboard etc.

Any and all images help!!

(If there is a specific thread for this please let me know, I have already looked in most places....)

Thanks 🙂

Mark

Here's one where I completely did away with mounting the chip (TDA8932) on a board in the interests of lowest supply impedance.

Pics taken while refurbishing and painting design room. This innovative amp is unreleased yet. Class A monotonicity to 50W. 4x250W/8. 2x900W/4. Excellent limiting for loud applications, gain reduced just at the right rate.

I wouldn't use strip board for a class d amp.
Some class d chips are hyper critical about lengths of tracks and pcb layout.
You need to get decoupling close to chip and close to output mosfets or you will have problems.
It took me 3 revisions of pcb before I got a good layout. I had problems with chip resetting on medium to high power.
