Looking forward to you experience - it looks very nice. I have several 8950th based modules, but they all suffer from "piano fuzz", but are great for subwoofers. The 8950th can be made without the "fuzz" but it seems to be hard if you just copy a design and not actually listen to the product afterwards.

What is the 5-pin connector to the right of the pot? Differential inputs?

Great sound! clear, clean, crisp. Very little noise on 10 cm distance from speakers, independent the volume.

A suggestion: A rather cheap board with TDA7498E. Briefly tested on DIYBudgetAudio.com under "TDA7498E based class D power amplifier".
The TDA7498E is somewhat more powerful than the ordinary TDA7498, so it may be worth a bit of extra cost.

You can also make a very nice amplifier with TDA8932 (in BTL coupling) or TDA8954. TDA8932 requires some additional work for the usual BTL economy boards, TDA8954 a symmetrical supply voltage.
