I need a amplifier board that can deliver a 500w rms in 8ohm. What can you suggest me for that, i need also a smps and speaker protection.I will make a amplifier with two boards so smps must be strong. Can you give me some idea or links where to buy some thing like that. Every answer is welcome. Thanks

thanks, but on that site i didnt find anything for me, all of the amps there are for 2or3 ohm specs and thd is too much example it says 1x1000w into 3ohm with 10%thd that is real power about etc 200w at 8ohm at 0,1thd and the price is 160$ thats too much for that. I have found The DX1000 project and i dont know is anyone make it to work is it worth here is the link

High quality products . Several SMPS's have build in DC protection .
You could use 2 IRS500SMPS with build in SMPS and protection , OK "only" 300 Watts in 8 ohm . If you need more power , use 2 cheap IRS2092 4 ohm modules in Bridge mode per channel with the Balanced Input Phase Shifter , no bus pumping problems and use one of the SMPS's designed for that module . Used their products daily for several years now , not one problem !

I made a 5 channel AV amp a couple of years ago with 5 LJM's L15D's combined with Emotiva UMC-1 processor . Very happy with the results , sounds very good ! I use a 2000W SMPS from Connex and it's a very good combination ! Use it daily .
You could use 2 L15DPro with build in DC protection in BTL per channel .
I would go with 800W SMPS +/- 50V per channel with 10.000 microF extra buffer capacitors per rail , gives you 500 clean Watts in 8 ohms .
