Hello all, I have just finished my Aviatrix speakers and need more power for them now. I was looking into three different amps. I hope to be able to use the same amps to power the Statements II speakers down the road. I listen to acoustic jazz and classical, and watch movies on my system currently. I will build either the Akitika GT101 (70wpc) stereo amp or the Hypex NC400 (300+wpc) monoblocks, or some newclassD monoblocks. The latter two are much more expensive. Does anyone have any experience with them? The later two amps are much more expensive compared to the Akitika. My speakers are 6ohm rated.
