International Rectifier has an excellent tutorial on building a Class D amp. It goes through all of the design considerations among other things.
Go to www.irf.com and follow "audio", and then go to the tutorial.

Check out www.ti.com and click the audio link.
How much power do you need? How much bandwidth? Operating from AC or DC source?
Your requirements or specifications will dictate the specific design. Getting your hands on just any Class D amplifier schematic will only work if you are extremely lucky.
At high power levels, just dealing with switching noise is a challenge.
Good Luck

Hi,
just finished mine today - discrete devices: Quad Opamp, Dual Comparator, 2 IR2112 MOSFET drivers, 4 BUZ11 (full bridge for unipolar power supply), 4 torodial chokes, a few capacitors and resistors, that's it. Smaller than the palm of my hand, and build on veroboard. It follows the BCA (Class-I) principle (patented by crown audio).
There is another thread here, where Circlotron posted some schematics and info on his Amp, which helped me a lot. My tests today were quite successful.
I can send some schematics, as soon as I have drawn them *g*.
Cheers
Felix
