Broken volume pot

I was assembling a TPA3116 amp and when I went to put the knob on the volume pot, I noticed it was skewed to one side. I thought that I could just apply a little bit of pressure and straighten it out. I'm sure you know what happened next. SNAP! Now I have a broken vol pot. I've never changed or soldered a pot before, so I have 2 questions. 1) is it something I can reasonably do (I can solder) and 2) what pot do I get? Please provide a link if you can.

Will need so see some pictures before anyone can help. There are a million volume pots out there and a few hundred values. A model number of the amp might help also.

If you take a close look at the body of the pot, there will be some identifying letters and numbers amongst the value.
Google what you find.

I'm not at home right now but I can disassemble the amp and take a closer look tonight.

Just looked at the pot in question. The only marking on the pot is 50K. It is attached to the PCB by 6 pins. I do have a Lepai 2020 board I use to salvage parts off of from time to time although I'm not sure how easy it would be to transplant the pot from one board to another.

Thanks for the link. Didn't even think to look there. Although the replacement is more than the cost of a new board. Maybe I'll just order another board.
