Hi.

This is my first post, found you whilst researching T-amps. I am without an amp at the moment, and was thinking of buying an Amptastic Mini-1. I'm not sure if this type of amp is suitable for the set-up I have in mind, so I'll give you a run down of components I'm thinking of using. Quite a few years ago I built a pair of Audax A652's, which to my ears still sound good. I also built a Celestion based sub, powered with a B&K amp. My plan is to build a new preamp and Linkwitz-Riley crossover, xover frequency at about 80Hz. These units are Elliot sound Production projects, ones which I have built in the past, and really liked, wished I'd never parted with them!

Preamp High Quality Audio Preamp

Crossover Linkwitz-Riley Electronic Crossover

Sub amplifier BSB200

Do you reckon the Mini-1 will do the job? I'm completely new to class D, any advice would be much appreciated.

John.
