First post, please be gentle with me.

I want to place four outdoor speakers on my roof terrace and notice most outdoor speakers are rated at 6 Ohms (not sure why). So two pairs in parallel present 3 Ohms to the amplifier.

I want it to be a Sonos zone and a Sonos Connect Amp is only rated to 4 Ohms, I also don't think it will be powerful enough at 55w/ch to drive four speakers outdoors anyway. So I'm thinking of using a Sonos Connect with line outs to a power amplifier. Power amp needs to be 4ch or 2ch and stable down to 3 Ohms if each chanel powers 2 speakers. I'm thinking of a Behringer iNuke NU1000. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/NU1000.aspx

Or a Behringer Europower EPQ304
http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/EPQ304.aspx

There are about the same price (iNuke is slightly cheaper and more powerful but only 2ch). I like these for their combination of power and price.

Seems like either would work OK to me but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking four of these Yamaha speakers but also welcome feedback on nice but not too expensive outdoor speakers.
