I'm looking for some help with Behringer Eurolive B215 output inductor. The power amp is class-D based on IRS20955 and IXTP50N25 output transistors. The problem is that the output inductor is very hot. Even without any input signal it is 70 degrees Celsius. On the output I have a sinusoidal signal 2Vpp with frequency of about 250 kHz. I think that this is the oscillation frequency of the amp. It seems that this is typical for the amp. What can be a reason of high temperature of the inductor? Can it be incorrect core of the inductor?
PS: apart from this problem, that amp works correctly. It had some problems with the power supply but this is fixed now.
