OK, so how do you stop M1 and M2 switching on together at switch on?

I think the only solution is to use two n-channel mosfet, but the circuit should be modified to use an IR2110 .... this version uses complementary pairs

some time ago I made this from detex schematic


i realized a stereo version in a small pcb only 80x100mm, good quality and power, but i have some little problems at very low frequency...


The new version is better in schematic and layout!

May be you will never encounter MOSFETs blowing up on power turn on - provided your power supply voltage does not rise too fast.
For that reason these kind of capacitive coupled PMOS/NMOS amps have a bad reputation of easily burning up, beeing more sensitive with higher supply voltage.
