Default Sanyo STK428-640 Class-D chip as a voltage regulator?

Is it possible to use the Sanyo STK428-640 Class-D poweramp chip as a voltage regulator for the purpose of obtaining a symmetrical output voltage range of +/- 25-55VDC. If yes, I would like to know what does it take to buid one, thank you.

Class d amplifiers quite often have residual carrier on the output signal so it might not be suitable.

Yes, that's what I figured...so I would have to have some kind of LC low pass filter at the output, just like a normal audio amplifiers? If this is the case, the output impedance would have increse along with frequency? Is there any way around it...comes to mind, what if I injected back into the regulator carrier noise, but reverse in phase?
