I hate how the power is reported at 10%, but they aren’t the only company. Looks like a decent build and more power than most cheap class D amps.

It would be nice with simple specifications like 1watt distortion half power distortion and full power too....

now if it was a 1000watt amp 10% distortion would be acceptable because at 50watts out it would be small ?

I am still undecided what to get right now....class d is like computers were in the 90's everyday something new and improved!

I feel like most stated specs are a power war and the manufacturer can post higher numbers if they measure to high distortion. And yes, using 50w of an amp measured at 1000w at 10% THD should have almost no distortion.

I just purchased a Christie CDA2 amp which is "pro amp", but designed for cinema installs and so has an input sensitivity to match consumer gear. It's class D and rated both channels driven @ 2 ohms <0.1% @ 800W per channel from 20Hz-10kHz. I'll be using it for subwoofer duty, but will also try it on my monitors as Christie specs their whole amplifier line for full range speaker application. (Christine CDA amps are an OEM of Peavey/Crest Pro-Lite which aren't forward about what class D tech they are using, but do claim the amp is 2ohm stable limited to the breaker.)

So far the amp is great. Plenty of power for a sealed 18” woofer in 4cu/ft cabinet and it has a variable fan with only occasionally comes on low. With pushing the sub as loud as I want, the amp hasn’t clipped and seems very happy providing only a signal below 100hz.

Seems like another great class D amp!
