I built TDA8920B amplifier few years ago.
Amplifier used with Klipsch RF-3 speakers.
TDA8920B schematic is as in datasheet, single-ended output used. PSU is usual: transformer-diodes-capacitors. Transformer power - 80W.
Sound was very dynamics, but not clear.
LDO (low dropout regulator) was build for power amp (Vdd/Vss). Sound become more clear, bass gained some weight and deep.

Then output inductors was changed to “For Zetex ZXCD1000 500 W Class D Solution” 20uH, CoilCraft part No. ED0006-AL. This improve sound a lot. Sound was more clear and more dynamics. This inductor is very good for TDA8920B too.

External clock, based on crystal oscillator was made after some time. Sound became match more clear, but appeared harshness.
Then was build Capacitor multiplier to provide clear voltage to Vssa/Vdda pins. This made good impact to sound quality too.

Input capacitors are WIMA MKS-4 1.0uFx63V, LC filter output capacitor - MKT type.

Result sound are: clear, detailed, very powerfool, very dynamics, have harsh. Compared to NAD (Class AB) amplifier TDA8920B are clearer, definitely have more dynamics, clearer on high volume, but have harshness, "thin" bass.

I want to remove harsh and make bass deeper and stronger.
Does anyone have experience how to do this ?
