Hi there,

I have a TA2020, dead quiet background. And then needed power.

I've taken smps supplies, MeanWell and Vicor, TK2050 amps, one from Sure and one from HiFiMeDIY, in a single center case or at the back of the speaker in dual mono:
I can't use anything, in all cases there is a hissing noise wich comes and goes randomly. Attenuator does attenuate it, so crancking volume means crank hissing :'(
BTW, that means the noise is taken prior to pot, isn't it? If so the amp not a concern here?

Tracking the noise would be great, I've recorded some at my tweeter, full volume and no source. There is also a light high pitch, but that does not annoy me. You can hear it changing and also coming and going.

Also attached is what it "looks" like, in the middle the slient state.
The background pitch is around 10kHz, the terrible hiss a bit higher, like 12kHz.

All ideas or how-to track welcome, that's driving me crazy!
Matthieu
