Hi, i'm doing a very simple diy project amplifier which consists of using the ALC0100 module from profusion (amp and power supply in the same board) and a volume pot.
I've tryed a small noble pot and also an Alps, both 50k. I always get noise and I don't know how to solve it.
I also had similar experience with a Tamp, but never got it to work properly.
If i use the alc0100 module directly with an ipod, the amp is dead silent. If I put the pot between the ipod and the amp, I get the noise. Even just by holding the ipod on my hand it makes louder noise than if I don't touch it.
Connections are right, but I don't know how to get rid of this buzzing noise.
I'm doing my tests "in open", on the air. No chassis box or anything, and I intend to use this in a kind of "boombox" as this is a very small and integrated amp.
