Has anybody found a solution to this problem? With very limited skill and electronics education, I am trying and hoping to resolve this Receiver problem. I removed the DSP board, cleaned all of the connectors and cables. I reinstalled the DSP board with no success. I also checked the supply voltage to the board. 12VDC and 5VDC are present.
It is a little late, but I had this same problem. On my VSX-D711 the problem was a blown fuse on the transformer assembly (labeled IC853 on the PCB, it is 1.6A). This is the DREG power line which provides 10VAC by way of the bride rectifier to the AD+5v & D+5v regulators. So lots of things do not work, but the main symptom is the "DSP NG" error msg.
