i need to make some type of circuit that will allow me to control the output compared to the input. but i need the output to stay linear with the input. ( i need the output to raise along with the input. but i want to be able to adjust the the output.) i need this circuit to be able to handle 10Amp DC current. please help

You could try taking off the DC coupling capacitor off the front end of an audio amp.
Adjust the gain using the feedback resistor.
