Hello,

I've just burned my Helder T2024 MKIII and need a replacement, searching the net I got a lot of data but can't sort out the information....
The options are, starting by the most expensive and going down in price (shipping included):
1 - The same Helder T2024 MKIII
2 - Hifimediy T1-M TK2050 9 - 24V
3 - Sure 2 X 100Watt @4Ω TK2050 (AA-AB32186)
4 - Sure 2 X 100Watt Class-D TDA7498 (AA-AB32189) or 2x50W or 2X25W
5 - Anything better under 40$
The Hifimediy and Sure have some advantage, for me, in terms of power supply availability.
I have 2 setups where I can use it in small rooms about 10 - 14 m2 and medium listening volume. The source will be Sansa Clip+ MP3 or my Laptop audio card and the speakers Pensil P70 (MarkAudio CHP-70) or Cabasse Sampan Lourd 311.

Thank you for your help

Jorge

If you don,t need the extra power i would get another helder ta2020 best 2020 amp out there.

Thank you for your help.
I've arrived to a split decision...
For the near future and following Bare advice I'll go for the Topping TP30.
For the immediate replacement of the burned Helder TA2020 I've ordered another TA2024.
Here are the reasons (The listening tests where performed more than 1 year ago so it's what I recall... with the Pensil P70 (my build) with Siare Fugue 400 8Ohm 94db).
1 - Using the same power supply (12V battery) there is not significant more power coming out of the TA2020.
2 - With the Pensil I had mixed feelings about witch board sounded better.
3 - Using the Siare the TA2024 sounded better to me.
4 - Despite the TA2020 being a board with current and temperature protections I burned it because I decided try the AC input with 14,8 V (within Helder's specs of 9-15V).
5 - The TA2020 is more than 4X the price of the TA2024 (shipped).
