Stereo to mono
 

I'm tyring to tie stereo inputs to mono feeding a TA2020. The best way that I have found is to run both stereo inputs into 10k resistors and then join the resistors and feed it into one side of the amp. I've been told that I should time the input to ground, but I don't understand why.

I'm hoping/asking for some feedback.

The way you're doing it is fine, but 10k might be a little on the high side. It could potentially cause some treble loss. Depending on the signal source anything down to 1k should work.
