is it true that Icepower 125 ASX2 sounds worst than 50 ASX2 ?
I am dubious about purchasing the 125 or the 50 thank you |

I suppose it depends a lot on what you intend using them for, serious audiophile Hi Fi or head banging noise ?

I have done some listening of the 200ASC and the 125ASX2 and the 125 "seems" to be cleaner- less noise. The 200 "seemed" to have more control on the bottom end. For lower listening levels I would go with the 125ASX2 for the very reason that it has lower measured distortion then the 200ASC (maybe why I think I heard it sound cleaner LOL :-). I have a 50 ASX2 but honestly have not compared those two.
I would have a hard time believing the 50 sounds better then the 125. Its so hard to do a real A/B listening comparison that is fair. I would trust the measurements more then I would someone's opinion about what they "think" they heard. Go with the 125 if you have the space and the money. The 50 is cheaper, smaller, and less power. I can't believe how small the 50 actually is LOL Just my .02 Mike |

I'd rather go for the UcD180 or similar from hypex.
