The 3110 can be bridged but there are a lot of wiring changes to do so. Not sure how easy it will be to implement on the Sure board. See Fig 38 in data sheet from TI.

I have been playing around with the Sure TPA3110 and TPA3122. Great little amps with a few simple mods they sound quite wonderful.

Here are the last 2 just completed. Comments would be most welcome

Nice. Why the film caps on the 3110?

What mods did you do? And with what value and make of components?

I was afraid someone would ask why I made the mods I did. Don't really know what I am doing here - it's a lot of guessing and experimenting for me although I do read all the forums that I can and slowly, slowly I'm learning.

wushulin- I tried a few different caps on the 3110 and these just seemed to sound the best.

keith- the mods on the 3110 are just the 2 film caps (Elna 2.2). On the 3122D2 I changed all the rail caps to 470uf 35V and the input caps to two 2.2 and one 1.0 Elna film caps.

Please suggest better improvements that I could try for future builds

Prezden,
So you did find a noticeable improvement in switching from SMD ceramic input caps to thru hole film caps? I bought some to keep handy but wondered if they would do anything.

I just took delivery of this Muse 50W tpa3023d2 board yesterday and tried it on a couple of pairs of speakers. On my 15 inchers and a CD player I only need to just crack the volume pot. Sounds beautiful, and no heatsinks.
For the price of a half case of beer, unbelievable.

Looks like they are running two 3123's in PBTL (bridged) mode to get 50 w/channel. This is what the new 3116D2 does with a single chip. A link and price paid would be useful info. Glad it sounds good. I have yet to hear somebody say a TPA chip doesn't sound good.???
