I have not tried this configuration with my 15" sealed speaker units yet. The amp is not intended to drive 15" bass units. A bridged configuration would be preferred in this regard, then beef up the reserve capacity some more.
Hi I saw your board in the previous post. looks very complex.
can your board be adapted for a simple amp as in the evaluation board ?

They are the inductors,33uH, used in filtering the switching transients.

Doh, I didn't see the chip had a dot in one corner. So it looks like you're right on those caps. How do you know what UF to choose?

I do not have any formula to calculate the optimum value of c21, 22. i tried 470 uf and 1000uf in parallel with the existing 220 uf. 1000 uf wins .

Hi kp:
What PS are you using for this eval board to your sonic satisfaction?

I have access to a Meanwell SP-150 SMPS which has 24VDC output with 6.3A. The eval board specifies current at 4A max. Does this mean that I cannot use this SMPS to power up this eval. board??

No, your can't draw more that 4A out of the Power supply. You supply just can't be below 4A (it can probably because normally you will only use 1/8 of the power continuosly, and then have some peaks reaching 4A)

Hi Keith,
I tried 2 SLA battery wired in series for 24 V and a 20 V laptop 4A smps filtered by a few motor run caps
I preferred the later. There is no cap filtering in the SLA set up.
SLA is clean but music lack dynamic contrast .

regards
