irs2092 mosfet bridging considerations
irs2092 mosfet bridging considerations
Hi I'm working on irs2092 based amplifier. I got the amp working great in Half bridge mode at 40vdc giving around 180W@4ohms as expected.:whip: MOsfet : IRFB4212 I read this things about Full-bridge:
What considerations should I have to make it work in Full-bridge mode ? I would like to get around 400W@8ohms. and 400W@4ohms. I can control the Voltage rails by microcontroller. Could it be posible to use it with 4-8 ohms Load? or what should I do ? Mosfet requirements Vds Id Rds(on) Minimum Load Mosfet requirements I have some IRFB4020 mosfets regards! |
Bridged should be fine into 8 ohms.
You will get 400watts RMS. |

What about using it 4-8 ohms ? |
Should I sync the amplifier clocks?

I'm just using the second order filter. Sync terminal added. I have some IRFB4020 mosfets. This will be the prototype, It also include the basic protections. DCP.UVP.OVP. Decoupling capacitors as closes as posible. 470uF electrolitic 1uF ceramic 0.1uF ceramic |
