I don't have mutch experience with diy so I would like to know if this can be used for a 12v dc trigger Solid State Relay (SSR Solid State)ASR01-210DA - China Relay, Solid State Relay, Power Relay in Relay & Contactor
Ive used solid state relays in some high-efficiency-required environments. Tossed them for they drop about 1-2 volts, which results in very poor efficiency, especially at lower voltages like 12v.
Go with a proper relay instead of a solid-state relay. The only two benefits from SSRs are no moving parts and the ability to be directly driven by a microcontroller.
