difference between hypex nc400 and ucd400

Hi,

what are the differences between the ucd400 models (st, hg, hxr) and the ncore? Is it measureable, audible? All i can see is a little difference in price (nc400 for 325€ and 400ST for 100€). The powersupplies are alot more expensive for the ncore as well, so what's the deal?
I am a little puzzled here ...

has anyone heard both? ucd sounds very good already after a few basic mods. i've never heard the ncore.

I would like to know too. Especially the difference with the UCD 400 AD.

Pretty much everyone in the ncore thread (Vendors Bazaar forum) say the ncore sounds appreciably better.

Maybe the Ncore sounds better, but what is the point for different PSU prices? Why not use the cheaper one?
