I've bought the Sure Electronics TDA7498 2x25W and the recommended rotary volume encoder. When powering up with a 16v power supply the speakers get "sucked in" and i'm measuring 4(!)V of DC offset. The sound is really distorted and low. I have two amplifiers with the exact same problem, so i think this is a design flaw, where Sure has bias-adjusted the amplifier using a different power supply. I read an article where a guy removed two resistors from a Sure board and DC offsets dropped from around 1.2V to 15mV. Is this possible with my board? Or are there anything else i can do to reduce this crazy DC offset?
