AEB 920p dpi Hi & Lo mosfet gate driver, oem?

Hello all,

I was servicing a powered speakers with a dead low freq amplifier. I found a mosfet driver ic labelled as a 920p. Anyone any info about this chip? Thank you very much.

Could it be a relabelled IR2110? A quick trace of where the pins go should tell you.

Hi SemperFi,

a quick trace of the circuit reveals that pin #10 and pin #14 goes to the mosfet gates, pin #9 vcc-,pin #4 gnd, pin #13 is connected to the vcc+, the pcb is dark colored (dark brown almost black opaque) so it is very hard to trace i just used the continuity beeper on my DVM. You couldn't even see the traces of the pcb if lay it flat.

probing around the circuit of the working Hi freq amplifier section reveals it is ran around 200Khz (i just used a scope at 2 uSec/Div) and some residual carrier freq after the output filter @ 1V peak to peak. Both Hi and Low frequency amplifiers is ran from a common SMPS at 85V Vcc+ and 85V Vcc-.
