Looking for a single supply class D module with 50W/8 ohms to 100W/4 ohms. Doesn't seem to be many, if any, that fill that bill.

The TP2050 family chipset should do the trick. Take a look at 41Hz Amp4 and Amp11, as well as the Hifimediy range. The original TP2050 chipset gives about 30W/8 and 60W/4, but the output chip can be replaced for higher voltage and higher current, giving up to 100W/8 and 400W/4 at the top end as I recall.

This looks like the winner to me. Since I am going to build a 3-way active speaker, I need 6 amps. I was going to go with (6) gainclones but this looks like a place to start, assuming they work as advertised. |
