DIY Boombox questions!

i am a new member here, also my first thread, but i have been looking in the forum for some time now. especially in the "class D amp" section.
i am going to build a boombox for outdoor purpose.
my demands of this boombox is high volume(db), small volume(m3) and a decent battery life. since i am a student without infinite funds, it has to be cheap too!
the build will be like the Boominator, just in miniature and a bit smarter design(if you ask me).
this is what i have found so far;

the cheapest Ta2020 amp from UK ebay : TA2020 PCB 25Watt Tripath Class-T Audio Amplifier Board | eBay
and then some switches and batteries.

here are some quick sketchup pictures of how i want it to look like:




the white cube is 1x1x1m!
The plan is that there will be 2 cabinets with 2 magnet-to-magnet subs. there will be 1 basshole(dont know what they are called) in each cabinet.
in the trapez on top, all the electronic will be suited. i think the ends where the tweeters are, there will be space for 1-2 RC/custom made battery packs in each side. in the middle there will be room for placing an ipod/mp3.
my plan was that there would be a 12v DC out and RCA out in the middle. then the on/off switches, the fuse/circuit breaker and the amp with volume control would be placed next to the room for mp3s.
my idea is to keep it simple, so i want to make the circuit like this:


this is my first boombox so please comment on it!
i know that there are some pros out there!

That's a bold statement. I only got one comment: it won't work, and it can't be made to work. Sorry.

You might want to read the Boominator thread as to why it can't work.

or maybe give me a hint why it wont work?

The Boominator thread is 2414 posts long. You really expect me to remember where anything is described in detail?

Anyways, the drivers and the cabinet size you have chosen will dictate a bass response on par with or maybe even slightly worse than the average mobile phone in loudspeaker mode.

so you suggest that i should build it bigger, and then loose some mobility?
i remember that you wrote that going below 80-100 Hz would be a waste for outside use, the drivers goes down to 103, so i dont think there would be a problem there.
besides, the woofers/phone speakers have a higher sensivity(3,7db + ½-1 because of the magnet to magnet system) than the tweeters så there is a "natural" boost in the low frequencies.
dont you think the 6" would be able to handle it fairly?

I just simmed the drivers in a cabinet of that size you're suggest. -3dB point at 192Hz. So as I feared it will be even worse then a mobile phone.

You just can't break the laws of physics, on an every day basis.

The Boominator is the smallest possible cabinet you can possible ever design when you consider how low it goes in the bass, how loud it can play, and how little battery it uses.

you are probably right! the cabinet sizes are acutally calculated cabinets though(with minor changes).
how big/small woofers do you suggest the woofers should be?
and do you know any good way(an online calculator maybe) to figure out the exact measurements of the cabinet? It seems like the one i found on google is worse than nothing!
