Where are the commercial class D multichannel amps?fordable modules?
I've been reading about the high quality and affordable class D amp modules (hifimediy, Class D Audio, Connex, etc.), but I'm a klutz with a soldering iron.
Are there any 7-ch amps using any of these? I need a couple for an 11.1 ch system with biamped L/C/R's. |
That should say "using the affordable modules".
Another thing that spooked me was reading about DC offset adjustments... |
Maybe you need someone to build one for you.. ;)

Hi, I'm actually using 3 stereo amps from Hifi-Akademie. You can buy the PCB for diy, or the soldered amp w/o case or the ready for use version. Outstanding SQ. Unfortunately everything is documented in German language only.

maybe two of these, and a helping hand
Buy 4CHANNEL CLASS D SMPS PROAMPLIFIER MODULE, 4X100W OR 2X200W OR 1X400W, 2OHM OR 4OHM OR 8OHM, 4CHANNEL TDA8950 +SMPS 400W PRO AUDIO AMPLIFIER MODULE at Aliexpress.com I have some 8950th based amps from connex, and they sound great, but these are almost ready to go since the PSU is integrated with the amp section |
Hi Noah,
I can recommend this amp. 7.1 or 5.1 TK2050 8-channel amplifier board dg-1 | eBay Sound is typical TK-2050 very well. There is enough power. greeting Michael |
Thanks for the links everyone, I'll continue educating myself about these

Also in looking at the photos there sure aren't many parts compared to HIFiMeDIY for instance. Rod |
