Default Power supply oscillation and Class D?

Hi,

Supposing an SMPS that supplies a Class D amplifier is poorly designed and has a feedback loop problem, manifesting itself as a 3KHz sine wave oscillation (peak to peak = 10V) imposed on its v(out).

Could a Class D amplifier filter out the power supply oscillation and stop it from ruining the music sound.?

Not perfectly. And avoiding PSU oscillation is simplier than building a very tolerant amp.

What smoothing capacitors do you have on the output ?
What is the switching frequency of the SMPS?
