Need help with TAS56**

Hello. I've recently made an amp with TAS5611PHD according to schematic in the datasheet.

Now the amplifier works fine and all but when it tries to play some heavy bass all high frequency sounds attenuate a lot. Maybe thats what all class D amps do? I tried placing different output inductors and caps and still works pretty much the same.

Also I have another problem with the amp; datasheet doesn't even mention what kind of input that chip needs so I just connect the signal source right to the IC (through caps of course) and when the signal source is a DVD player or a computer, the amp kicks into the shutdown mode (protection). So basically I can't connect anything to the amp but an mp3 player. Maybe the TAS5611 needs two differential preamps before it, just like in the evaluation board?

Also what could be the gain of the amp? I seems like it only gives like 10W from a 1Vp-p source.
