Volume control wiring

Hi, just finishing up my stereo ucd400 build and I have a question.
How do I wire the volume pot?

Thanks, a couple of questions,
What is the dotted line on the dual gang picture?
Also I'm using a single ended setup with rca's, does the ground connect to the negative on both sides?

typo I guess

dashed line in previous picture is to show they're mechanically linked, so if you change L volume you simultaneously change R volume by same amount
