Default Matching pre-out Pioneer

Hi,

I'm currently using a Pioneer HT receiver to drive a 7.1 system I use for movies and music. The fronts are Magnepan MMG's. I want to use an external amp to power them and would appreciate some advice.

Two amps look interesting CDA-258 and SDS-258. Unfortunately the Pioneer has an output of 0.335V/2.2Kohm on pre-out. Questions are

1. Which amp is better for music?
2. Which will mate better with the Pioneer?
3. Do I need additional hardware to mate the two?

I'm rather handy with a soldering iron and have some rather basic electronic skills.

any help appreciated

Brian
