Alpine MRP-M1000 no sound

Ok i bought this amp off amazon i bench tested it and it worked unhooked it and fired it up four days later and now there is no sound and sounds like im going to be stuck making payments on a dead amp. when i hooked it up the second time i noticed the blue light flickering and the subs were making a popping noise with nothing hooked up to it. If someone has a service manual on this can i get it? thanks for any help.

Check output MOSFETs first for shorts.

ok here is what i know. the amp must be shorting out somewhere when i try to do a bench test with the ATX power supply like i always do. once the amp turns on it makes the PSU power down. i am connecting with 12 volts 18 amps. If i connect it to a battery it stays on.

You need to use a multimeter on the output transistors to see if any pins are shorted.

This may be a dumb question but is it possible to fry the amp with a multimeter?

i tested the amp again today on a battery the light stays solid and flickers when it does this it makes the subs pop. i did so testing with a multimeter and found that some transistors were going up to 20 volts at times.

Im having the same problem but the light isnt flickering and im pretty sure i fried a transistor the pins look burnt i was wondering if anyone knew where to get transistors for this amp
