I'd like to have a go at putting together my own t-amp using the kits from Arjen Helder.
I've never done an electronics project of any kind (but I'm pretty handy generally and a quick study!). Can anybody recommend a good book or website to give me tips about how to go about putting one of these into a case. Also where can I source appropriate cases for these units? Finally, what kit am I going to need? Here are the two products I'm interested in. NEW tube pre-amp MKIII 12AU7 fully assembled | eBay New MKIII Tripath TA2020 PCB 25watt Class-T amplifier | eBay Many thanks in advance - any advice welcomed. Charlie |

You really just need to understand how to wire it up.
You obviously need a power supply for the pre amp and amplifier. The only problem you might come across is poor earthing causing hum and this is usually sorted by using a single point ground for all ground lines.
