Hay luka,

Yes you are right, the dead time is currently 105ns, and the inductor is 30uH not 30mH. No sleep makes eyes not work very well.

It is currently switching at around 400-450kHz.

When we first plugged it in and ran it with a 2vp-p signal we were getting about 3vp-p out. so we increased the value of the feedback resistor from 64k gradually up to 330k were we are now getting a 40v p-p signal out.

reduce the gain of the amp, now you have 100x gain, way too much
It was pointer out to me, and I see it too, that you guys don't know how to set nor calculate the gain of the amp and what input capacitor to use

1. you don't have input resistor, that with resistor in feedback set the gain
2. your input capacitor size would be good for anything but sub application

Here is what you do, increase input capacitor to atlest 1uF, anything up to 10uF will work great too. Add 3.3k resistor after it. Reduce 330k feedback resistor to 120k
that will give you gain of about what, 35 or so

I found my amp got warm (2092+mosfets) when running that fast.
200KHz would give a cooler solution.

Thanks everyone for your help! It is now going and sounding pretty good

We added some extra caps over the rails as we were getting a fair bit of bus pumping at the lower frequencies, which has solved that problem.

Interestingly, we can run both sides in half-bridge configuration with no worries, they both perform well and we can see on a scope that they're indeed the inverse of one another. However, when we hook them up in BTL configuration, both chips cease function and toggle their CSD pins.

We can't think of a reason for this as everything works up until we connect the speaker across both outputs.

Any ideas?

Remember in BTL mode the speakers must be twice the impedance or you will get an over current event.

I use a pair of irfb4227 in my design and they work well.
They are a little high on gate capacitance but the 2092 seems to drive them OK.

i bought some irfb4227, irf640 and t_130-2 my power supply is +/- 63v , R gate driver 10 ohms . is it okie ? last time, i test my design in break board it resets when clip like yr .maybe pin ocset or DC protect works not right ,have u fix your amps ?
i hope my amps 7 works good .
philip .
Regard !
