Hi all
Im trying to make an amp to drive some tactile transducers for my PS3. I'd like reccomendations on a prebuilt or kit form amp to power 2 channels at around 50W-100W at 4Ohm, sound quality is not the biggest factor as they shouldnt be making a lot of sound. Below are some details of what I have already to work with I have a couple of SMPS's available already and some metal enclosures. And have already built a preamp/24db low pass filter. I was looking at 2x100W TDA8920BTH Audio Amplifier Board class D+speaker protect BTL200W and the like on ebay, there seem to many different types with basically the same chips. The boards specify 8A maximum current, the SMPS I have is rated for 6A at 24V, I'd normally be comfortable just keeping it turned down but I hear class D amps can have trouble with not enough current. The other option I was looking at would be a 200W vellemen kit, although that requires a split supply so I would need to use a virtual earth on the SMPS. Any reccomendations/suggestions would be welcomed for boards/kits that I could use with the 24V-40V SMPS (6A@24V) |

Also looking at
sure electronics 2*100w TK2050 TP2050 Tripath Class-T AMP Although these seem to have huge current requirements. |
