I can't tell you without tests and measurement, but try it without O/C protect if you can't find 0,05R/5W resistor.

Hi ALL

(RMS)FTC calculation is V^2/R=P

ie, 40^2/8= 1600/8=200W RMS

True RMS Calculation is [V/(2xsqroot2)]^2/R=P
(+)40V+(-)40V = 80V(total)
[80/3]^2=710.93/8=88.8W RMS

actual value for 2x Root 2 = 2.828 so i round to 3

with actual [80/2.828]^2=800/8=100W RMS

(in example of XLS1500 amp) generally , i want to know how much the type of power supply can change the output power... Regards, IRSound
