Crown XLS1500 use regulated SMPS in PSU, with SMPS D200 have same power as Crown.

450kHz is to high for FDA, use IRFB31N20D... or change frequency to 250kHz.

XL2 have 1.5V output and IRFP250 can't be use on 450kHz.

Yes but with high switching loses and IRFP250 will heat.
Use volume pot value 1-5k for test.
