I am one step away from finishing my Hypex UCD400 mono build in a single chassis. I simply need to solder (the 4-pin connector UCD signal cables) to the RCA's. I am building this amp in a pseudo balanced configuration.
I thought I understood how to wire the 4-pin UCD signal cable to the RCA's until I began to strip the signal cable. Could someone please tell me how to wire the RCA's for pseudo balanced. The 4-pin UCD signal wire consists of: 1 - red center wire - I assume this goes to the RCA center "hot" pin? 1 - black center wire - I assume this goes to the negative "cold" pin of the RCA? 1 - copper wire integrated with the sheild - I assume this also goes to the negative "cold" pin of the RCA? 1 - small black wire connected to the last pin of the 4-pin connector. This wire is independent of the signal wire. Not sure what to do with this. Does it also go to the negative "cold" pin of the RCA? Here is a pic of the UCD signal cable. Thanks in advance for the help. Slowlearner |

Not sure why picture of the cable didn't post. Here is a second try.
If the picture still doesn't work it can be seen on the Hypex Webshop https://www.hypexshop.com/ Click "Connection Material" on the Webshop menu, then scroll down the list of products to the bottom. The UCD signal cable is shown as the last item. Thanks, Slowlearner |

The small black wire is for on/off control, see datasheet
