I just bought the JL Audio 13TW-5 13.5" Thin-Line Woofer. Its a 600RMS sub.
I was looking into a perfect amp to match it. It needs to be an amp that outputs the same power for any ohm resistance because the sub is 3Ohm. Someone suggested the Alpine PDX 1.600. Its 600RMS and outputs that power no matter if the sub is 1, 2, 3 or 4 Ohms. However, I've never used Alpine in my life, just woundering everyones input on if Alpine PDX 1.600 + JL Audio 13TW-5 are a good match and will the amp pump the JL nice? Thanks for the help! |

Sounds like its for car use, pretty much any car booster amplifier with an internal lowpass crossover will work well.
For home subs i'd say get a hypex plate amp. |
