Default Tas5261 amp+ analog to pwm controller

Hi everybody,

going to finish this class-D amp shortly.

power amp - TAS5261
Silver plated PCB
controller - PCM1808+TAS5010

anybody intrested ?

Nice! But how on earth did you manage to solder that fine pitch components ?

0.5mm pitch is easy; it can be done with a standard tip (in good shape).

Quite Easy but after a lot of practice.

I use a 10W Iron with Aluminium coated bit.

But be veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery careful. It contains poisnous vapours. Must not be spilled on body.

Very hard to find, but fortunately my relative has a chemical shop and so Its easy for me

This looks very interesting

Solding surface mount parts isn't all that hard. Even the smallest parts can be handled with relative ease, the trick is to use solder wick/mop. Simply flood the pins and pads beneath them, then suck up all the excess solder. Usually that's enough to get the job done.

I can soldered SSOP without bridging any of the pins, but then I do have a 0.6mm soldering tip if needed. The trouble when things get that small is effective heat transfer.
