I'm looking at some Crown app notes about the Balanced Current Amplifier and is thinking about giving it a try, however i dont expect any sound quality worth jack from it.
I was thinking 300-400kHz switching frequency which is then doubled to 600-800kHz by the BCA topology, which would essentially make it the same performance as a 600-800kHz class D amp. Its interesting so i'd like to experiment with it. I've seen it before but never thought much about it. |

Good idea,I like this topology,it has very high damp factor,I have try the circuit years ago, works well, Double frequency concept is not correct, Only my thought, because many class D circuit work at BD mode ,like crown double fequency concept. when bridged two ir class D (400Khz),could it be said 800Khz main frequency ? |

I may try this topology sometime. But for now im gonna concentrate on the prototype i designed before based on the 25-1200w ucd.
